First Words with Bluey: On Demand Class
This pre-recorded, on demand class gives your child lots of exposure to words that are commonly some of the first words children say, such as "mommy, daddy, ball, hi, bye, yes, no, baby, eat, go, stop, open, run, play, water, book, tree, on, up, down, thank you, bed, and night-night". Help your child learn to say these common words by hearing them and watching the teacher say them, with lots of repetition, while enjoying the fun video. First words typically begin around 12 months of age and many children can say 50 or more words at 18-24 months. This class is for any child of any age who is learning first words.
When the teacher says, "Say ____", you can pause the video if you need more time to encourage your child to repeat the word.
Let your child watch your mouth as you say the word slowly.
If your child does not attempt to repeat the word, don't worry, and don't push it. Just continue watching the video and giving opportunities.
The more times children hear a word and see the word spoken and see what it means, the faster they learn to say it.
